Different collectible marketplaces have different buyer audiences. A postcard that has been sitting on eBay for two months may sell within a week on HipPostcard, and vice versa. Keeping a single item live across marketplaces multiplies your chances of a sale — but only if you can manage it without double-selling or drowning in duplicate listings.
The naive version of cross-listing is to manually copy each listing over. That breaks down fast: you forget which items you already copied, prices drift out of sync, and when one sells you have to remember to pull it down everywhere else. The manual overhead is exactly what pushes sellers onto a single marketplace and leaves reach on the table.
CollectorPursuit's Marketplace Sync Rules treat eBay as the source of truth and push active fixed-price listings to your connected Hip marketplace on a schedule. Each transfer is logged with a private id, so re-running the sync never re-posts an item that is already there. Reverse direction is handled with bidirectional duplicate detection, so an item already on the target gets skipped, not duplicated.
And when a listing sells or ends on eBay, the matching listing on the target marketplace can be delisted automatically — so you are never selling something you no longer have.
Connect eBay plus the Hip marketplace(s) you sell on, create a sync rule, optionally filter by category, and run it. The first pass cross-lists everything that qualifies; subsequent passes only pick up what is new. Setup details are in the marketplace settings, and recent cross-listing improvements are logged on the What's New page.
